As is my custom I did purchase firearm related merchandise on Tax Day ... this year a Winchester Model 70 bolt action rifle in .30-06, along with a box of Hornady rounds. In case the SHTF and I have to head into the mountains, this rifle will allow me to hunt food and protect myself out to 300 yards … double that once I get good with it.
